Naming a dog is a freaking difficult job. Even before my arrival my Mommy had named me Mowgli. However, things do not always happen according to a hooman’s wish, alright! When she ‘called’ me Mowgli I didn’t give a damn. She tried her best for a whole day and finally gave up. She started searching for dog names and Man, I tell you. Both Dad and Mom were calling me names – few of them were cute and few just plain. From Jon Snow to Khaleesi to Sky to Copper, I heard them all until that moment when someone (I don’t like to take sides. My parents fight over who came up with the name in the first place), called me Mufasa and then Muffy. I know I loved it and went running towards them. That’s my dog naming story.

Thank God they chose Muffy. What does Mufasa mean by the way?
Such a cute naming ritual our darling Muffy went through. Mufasa makes him sound like a goondaism though, a regal, royal one, which he will grow up to when he is a year or so. Muffy love you loads. Sending you big doggie hugs.
Pencil is such a cute name! 😛
But, I like Mufasa….<3
We had chosen the name Satin first, but then with time, he became Chiikoo..:D
So sweet! One of my favorite dog movies is Marley and Me. ALso enjoyed the Shaggy DA. I love your name too, Muffy!
Johnny Depp? Seriously?
I love the story behind Muffy’s name though. I just call him a bundle of joy <3
