My personal favorite way of cooking Prawns!! And this is upon the request of my friend – Sagar that I am posting this recipe.
Onion- 1- finely chopped
Tamarind- 2 small pieces
Red Chilli powder- 1tsp
Coriander powder- 1tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Coconut pieces- 2tbspn
Heat oil in a pan. Saute onion.
Add ginger and garlic. When lightly browned, add the powders.
Add prawns and turmeric and close with a lid. Cook for 5-10mins.
Add coconut pieces and curry leaves. Mix well. Server hot!
