Hello February! One month has already gone and I’ll tell you how! I had a bad start to 2019 even after all the planning and thinking!
Towards the end of January, I was seen flustered and God knows I wanted the month to come to an end. ASAP.
For starters, the man wasn’t home for the most part of the month and it sucked! Big time! He missed our furball’s first birthday even though we had been planning his birthday celebrations for weeks. Well, duty comes first, alright!

I was down with a nasty flu for most of the month and it was awful. I shuddered at the very thought of getting out of bed. I couldn’t blog much even though my planner was jam-packed with blog post ideas.
The weather wasn’t helping either. The cold felt unbearable and the temperature dropped to an all-time low of minus five. Scattered rain showers brought the snow too. But nope. Not exactly where I live. But on the hill right opposite to my home – which is, say around 10kms away? I felt blue for I couldn’t witness the snowfall and if I had, it would’ve been my first glimpse of it. Yeah, right.
I started the month on a high reading six books back-to-back and then I couldn’t read even a single page. Thanks to the flu. But I am slowly getting back to reading and I have some good stack of books set for February.
This also means that I sucked at my 365days project – #Slayingitin2019. But I’m on it now!
Enough with the jibber-jabber. Let’s grab a cup of hot chocolate and Ketchup!

Ah! Glad January is over and you survived it, literally too. I hope February is a better month for both of us. Thank you for being You.
Ah! Glad January is over and you survived it, literally too. I hope February is a better month for both of us. Thank you for being You and for being there for me this month and other times as well.
Oh sorry to hear youβve been hit by the flu. Being by yourself during it wouldnβt have helped; for me thatβs usually the worst bit of falling sick β no one around apart from the cats to nurse me back to health! π But Iβm glad you decided to be kinder to yourself, let yourself off the hook and take it one day at a time. Hopefully, February is a better month! Take care x
Shalini hope you are better now and wish you a great year ahead! Hope you have a fantastic Feb.
