Inderpreet’s ‘Generously Yours‘ is a short tale of a young woman who is battling with various emotions of love, loss, and grief. An Army Wife, Inderpreet is a voracious reader as well. Her blog stands testimony of her love for writing and reading. She has graced this space before with a guest post on the pranks we play on the newlyweds in the Army.
I am glad she has come up with this book and I wish her all the very best for her future endeavors as well.
Review: Generously Yours by Inderpreet Uppal
The Whoa and Ouch Moments!
Generously Yours‘ is a short tale of a young woman who is battling with various emotions of love, loss, and grief. Diya believes in forever love. But her world crashes down in front of her eyes when Viren abandons her. Or did he?
The book is just eighteen pages long, but the story grabs your attention from the word go. With vivid descriptions and narrated in a crisp and lucid style, the author has also tried to keep the suspense till the end. I knew what was coming up nevertheless, the pain of loss and pangs of separation is what would tug at your heartstrings.
I loved the author’s style of writing – in third person narrative. The story doesn’t involve any ‘one to one’ interaction, or dialogues. A poignant love story, I yearned for it to be a bit longer. What if this is simply a prequel to her novel? Ah, I wish!
Do I Recommend?
Of course, Yes! A quick read!

I haven’t yet read this one yet, but I like your optimism – it could indeed be a prequel to a novel. From what you described in the review the fodder is certainly there!
