Pride and Prejudice is my all time favourite and have read it multiple times! I had also read Wuthering Heights long ago, but it left me with a very depressing feeling. I don’t remember anything of the story now so I guess time to re-read. And thanks for the long list of so many other novels!!
You’ve included some of my all-time favorite romantic reads, and now I have a few more to add to my to-read pile. Your descriptions of each book were spot on, especially how you highlighted the emotional depth of the characters. Definitely bookmarking this for when I need a new romance novel!
Great recommendations. Even though my husband is not much of a reader but I can always gift these books to myself 😉.

Am past romance although I believe in love, difficult but practical love. Yet, I liked the crisp briefs of each of your recommendations and The Kamogawa Food Detectives is definitely into my TBR.
I enjoy rom-coms. and I have bookmarked your post only, instead of adding every book to the TBR
Shalini I really like how you have added both classics and contemporary romances to this list.

Absolutely love this idea, dear. There’s something so special about gifting a story that stays with someone long after they’ve turned the last page. Romantic novels have a way of making hearts flutter and reminding us of the beauty of love. Thanks for sharing this thoughtful suggestion—definitely bookmarking this for Valentine’s Day.
You have listed all my favourite classics. And the new ones, I need to buy them! Especially the pumpkin spice cafe!
Yur personal touch about Wuthering Heights being your mother’s favorite adds warmth and nostalgia to the post. If I had to suggest anything, it would be perhaps a short section on underrated romance novels—hidden gems that might surprise readers. But overall, it’s a lovely, well-rounded selection!
I would say, lucky are those who have partners who are book lovers. Gifting romantic books to your partner is such a sweet romantic gesture. Your list is comprehensive and impressive. I have read only the classic romances you have shared.
My husband wouldn’t read a book to save his life! But but, I loved some of these recommendations and will treat myself with some cute romance reads, especially the modern ones.
Great recommendations. Feel deeply worried that my TBR is only getting richer but time getting sharper !
I spot some of my recent favorites here. They’re definitely good gifting options. Thanks for curating this list
