Sawasdee Ka! When we decided to take a vacation to Thailand, all we wanted to do was take time off our busy schedules. After a hectic IT job, I badly needed a break to take care of myself and my family. Our aim was clear and thus, we decided not to approach any travel agencies or tours for charting out our trip. It was done by us and we had the flexibility to skip or include anything in our plan. So basically, we aimed to unwind in Thailand.
Comfort was the priority and the itinerary couldn’t be any much better. Lie on the beach. Lie at the pool. Switch off. Relax.
To smell the flowers and munch on delicious Thai food.
Shopping was the last in the list and other than getting some souvenirs in the form of fridge magnets, scented oils, lotions, soaps and face packs (you get brilliant beauty products here) and some lingerie and the famous Thailand Naraya bags, we didn’t purchase any. We are glad that we took this spectacular trip and may be, we will go back to the stunning turquoise beaches of Krabi soon.

I agree with you, Thailand is THE place to unwind for me! Just thinking of it makes me relax instantly!
I have ben to Bankok and Pattaya some years back. I shopped a lot from everywhere I stayed. Coral island was the best tourist attraction.

Looks blissful – amazing how clear the water is! As you know, I only spent five days in Bangkok and that’s pretty hectic. I’d love to get back and explore the islands one day.
