Come What Come May

Behold! A glimpse of you makes me forget how to come to my senses
With the world swirling around me and fanning out it’s feathers,
It’s hard to capture the words I feel.

I would rather stand staring at you
Each second of the day
And Oh boy! I go numb in dismay.

My thoughts, my senses wander
Don’t torment me going away,
My heart shall ponder.

Be the smile on my lips, and not tears in my eyes
Be the peace of my heart and not spasm of my soul
Don’t fade into a memory, I can live no more.

For I am not season to change or reason to break
I will be with you, come what come may!
