I’m currently reading Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw and honestly, the cover lured me in. It’s so pretty, isn’t it?

I’m only halfway through the book and I don’t see myself finishing this any time soon. Does that mean, it is bad, or am I taking the time to savor it? Well, wait for the review. I’ll update it soon.
Here’s the blurb as on Goodreads:
Be careful of the dark, dark wood…
Especially the woods surrounding the town of Fir Haven. Some say these woods are magical. Haunted, even.
Rumored to be a witch, only Nora Walker knows the truth. She and the Walker women before her have always shared a special connection with the woods. And it’s this special connection that leads Nora to Oliver Huntsman—the same boy who disappeared from the Camp for Wayward Boys weeks ago—and in the middle of the worst snowstorm in years. He should be dead, but here he is alive, and left in the woods with no memory of the time he’d been missing.
But Nora can feel an uneasy shift in the woods at Oliver’s presence. And it’s not too long after that Nora realizes she has no choice but to unearth the truth behind how the boy she has come to care so deeply about survived his time in the forest, and what led him there in the first place. What Nora doesn’t know, though, is that Oliver has secrets of his own—secrets he’ll do anything to keep buried, because as it turns out, he wasn’t the only one to have gone missing on that fateful night all those weeks ago.

That said, here’s how my April went. I started off with a bang by posting some book recommendations for the #AtoZChallenge but within ten days, I lost interest. But for the first time, I am not sad. The time I took off from this space proved beneficial in so many ways and I am over the moon with how my food blog is taking off at this moment.
I also enjoyed joining in so many reading challenges on bookstagram. But every good thing has to come to an end and I’m burned out. I couldn’t read a single sentence for the last ten days. I’ve picked up 6 different books for April #ReadingWithMuffy. You should check my “Currently Reading” tab on Goodreads. It’s a mess. (Say a Hi on Goodreads?)
So, while I deal with the burn out my way, I realized I’m keeping you on hold without posting a linky for Muffy’s challenge.
Bad.
Very bad.
So, here it is!
Let the reviews pour in. So, if I don’t feel like going ahead with my current read, I’ve all your reviews to refer to.
P.S: The March Winner will be announced on my Instagram stories today evening. This blog post will be updated when I do.
P.P.S: I hope you are staying home, staying safe. Let’s pray for this life-threatening disease be eradicated from the world soon.
Lots of love and good vibes.

I’ll remember this quarantine for the various slumps I fell into and how I found new ways to beat them. I hope you do too. And even if you don’t, it is okay 🙂
