I’m kinda missing my Blog baby. It’s been a week since I’ve neglected her- ‘cos of family visiting home and me taking a break. I was being looked after well by Mom and Dad and their exquisite food. I will update the recipes in the coming days. Now, everything is back to square one! Same old job and P and I alone at home. Sigh!
So, today I am back in kitchen and attempted to try this recipe. It turned out good and here’s the recipe.
Green and Red capsicum- 1 de-seeded and cut into cubes or thinly sliced ( I couldn’t get red capsicum and hence de-seeded a firm tomato) 🙂 , Curd- 300 gm, Paneer cubes- 300 gm cubed, Desiccated Coconut or Cashew paste- 3 tbsp, Turmeric and red chilly powder- 1/2 tsp each, Garam masala- to sprinkle Oil- 2 tbsp, Salt and water
Heat oil and fry the capsicum for three mins.
Blend the curd, cashews/desiccated coconut and the powders. Once capsicum is fried slightly, add this blended mixture along with half a cup of water.
Add paneer cubes and bring to a boil. Simmer and cook till a thick consistency is attained.
Sprinkle Garam masala.
Serve hot with rice.
