Chilly Chicken

Okay, so you can’t have only Egg fried rice (if you are someone like SV, then you definitely can’t). There should be some accompaniment. So, here’s something to go with it- Chilly Chicken.Eating turkeyIt tastes as yummy as it looks. 🙂 You can also try some of my other Chinese recipes. 🙂


300gm boneless cubed Chicken, 1egg, 2tbsp corn flour, 2tbsp all purpose flour, 3/4tsp salt, 1/4tsp pepper, 1tspn chopped garlic, 1tsp soya sauce, 1 tsp red chilli paste/red chilli sauce.

Mix these ingredients together and set aside for about 20mins. Fry in batches.

Others: 1 capsicum cubed, 3tbsp oil, 1tbsp garlic, 2green chillies cut into 1″ pieces, 1 small onion cubed, 1/2tsp salt, 1/2tsp pepper, a pinch of sugar, 1tbsp soya sauce, 1tsp vinegar, 4tbsp tomato ketchup, 3 tbsp red chilli sauce.

Heat oil in a wok. Add garlic and stir.

Ad green chillies and stir. Add onions and capsicum and cook for couple of mins.

Remove from fire and add all the remaining ingredients. Return to heat and stir for 2mins.

Add chicken and mix well. Add mre soya sauce if yu like a darker shade. Serve hot.
