Chicken Kashmiri

Another mind-blowing chicken for your taste-buds. I can place a bet on it- its finger-licking goooooood.

Can’t put in words the exact feeling I go through now… Wooohooo.. its A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Do try and let me know how it turned out!


Chicken- 300gms, Oil- 2 tbsp, Cinnamon, Cardamon, Cloves (total of 5gms), Onion- 2, Tomato – 2, cashews- 4tspn, Raisins- 1tbsp

To grind:

Onion-2, Ginger- 2″, Garlic- 3cloves, Red chilli powder- 2tsp, Turmeric powder- 1/4tsp, Coriander powder- 1tsp, Salt


Grind the ingredients and marinate the chicken pieces with this ground mixture for 10-15mins.

Heat oil in pan and put cardamon, cloves and cinnamon. Add the onions and saute till golden brown.

Add the chicken along with the marinated paste. Mix well.

Add chopped tomatoes and a cup of water. Cook closed till the chicken is done.

Uncover and cook till you get the desired consistency (shouldn’t be too thin).

Add fried cashews and raisins. Garnish with coriander.
