Desi Veg Fried Rice

It’s that time of the year again  when the world had turned into red and pink. My Valentine Day story? A long one, indeed. Here it goes.

So, a couple of days ago, the question popped out from my mouth, “What are you planning for Valentine’s day, hubby?? “.. Without any hesitation he replied, “What???? What’s Valentine’s anyway??” That’s the end of story.

Here’s what I cooked.

Ingredients:

20140214_104752Basmati rice-1 cup, Carrot-1long, Beans-10, Cabbage- 1small cup, Pepper- 1 tsp, Spring onion-3, Oil- 3 tblsp, Sugar-1/2 tsp

 

Method:

Cook rice and separate the grains. Cut the veggies very finely.

Heat pan with oil. Add the vegetables with sugar and saute for 2 minutes. Add pepper and spring onion and saute for a minute. Add cooked rice and combine well.

P.S: I am a romantic, and I confess!!!
