Ingredients:
Ripe Plantain – 4
Rice flour/Maida – 1/2 cup
Sugar- 3 tbsp
Salt- 1/4 tsp
Turmeric – a pinch
Water
Oil- for deep frying
Method:
Half the plantains crosswise and cut each lengthwise into 3 slices.
Mix rice flour, sugar, salt and enough water in a bowl to make a thick batter.
Heat oil in a deep pan.
Dip the plantain slices in batter and deep fry in batches till golden.
